The Cavs Lose on Senior Night

The Culver Cavaliers lost 28-6 against the Pioneer Panthers on October 8. It was the last home game of the regular season which also means it was senior night. The football team has 9 seniors that were recognized for their hard work and dedication to the football program. The 9 seniors are Marquez Anderson, Hunter Evans, Tucker Fisher, Brady Moise, Noah Pratt, Hunter Taylor, Blake Thompson, Alex Zehner, and Auston Zehner.

The game was a hard fought loss with Blake Thompson scoring the only touchdown for the Cavaliers. Blake had 12 rushes for 54 yards. Shane Shuman had 23 rushes for 131 yards. The Cavs finished the game with a total of 223 yards of offense.

The Panthers scored 4 touchdowns; 1 passing, and 3 rushing touchdowns. The Panthers had 314 total yards of offense. 

The biggest problem for the Cavaliers on Friday night was the penalties. The Cavaliers had 11 penalties for 55 yards. 

The Cavaliers look to bounce back as they go on the road against the LaVille Lancers on October 15. LaVille will be another tough opponent for the Cavs as they get ready for sectionals.
