The Cavs Comeback to Beat Knox

The Cavalier boys basketball team won an away conference game against Knox on Saturday, December 11th. 

     Knox came into the game 0-3 with losses to Morgan Twp., Tippy Valley, and Peru. 

     The Cavs struggled to find offense in the first quarter as Knox led 8-1 at the end of the first quarter. The Cavs finally started to find some offense as they pulled the lead to 4 at the end of half, 15-11. The Cavs kept it close as they went into the fourth quarter down 3, 23-20. In the fourth quarter, the Cavs started to press and held Knox to 4 points in the fourth quarter, and the Cavs put up 15 in the fourth quarter to win 35-27. 

    The Cavs scoring was led by Junior Mason Herbert with 11 points. 

    The Cavs record improved to 3-3 with the win on Saturday. The Cavs play Winamac on Tuesday, December 14th.
