The Lady Cavs Lose Big to Knox

The Lady Cavs lost an away conference game at Knox on Saturday, December 11th. 

     Knox came into the game 4-5 just beating Oregon-Davis the night before by a score of 65-50.

     The Lady Cavs started off slow and couldn’t establish an offense the whole night against the Knox defense. The Cavs didn’t score in the first quarter as Knox led 17-0. The Cavs finally got on the board in the second quarter but were still losing 23-5 at the end of the half. The trend was the same in the second half as it was in the first as Knox won 49-14. 

     The Lady Cavs scoring was led by sophomore Grace Sieber and freshman Brynn Berndt as they both had 5 points in the loss on Saturday. 

      With the loss the Cavs record falls to 3-9. The Cavs look to bounce back as they play North Judson on Thursday, December 16th.
