The Start of a New Season
The 22-23 wrestling season started with fewer members as a large group of experienced wrestlers either graduated or left the team. Only three wrestlers fully returned from last year's season: sophomore Robert Evans along with seniors Landon Kuykendoll and Owen Falk.

Preparation for the Bell Game
By: Charley Howard The Culver Cavaliers and the Argos Dragons have been rivals for decades. From soccer to basketball, the Culver Argos games are always some of the most competitive and exciting games of the season. One of the biggest games in the boys basketball season is the Bell Game in which Culver and Argos compete against each other for the familiar bell. “This will be the 49th year,” said assistant varsity coach AJ Neace, “the Bell Game has been going on between Culver and Argos.” Last season, the Cavs played Argos three times including the Bell Game. The Lady Cavs Lose Big to Knox
The Lady Cavs lost an away conference game at Knox on Saturday, December 11th. Knox came into the game 4-5 just beating Oregon-Davis the night before by a score of 65-50. The Lady Cavs started off slow and couldn’t establish an offense the whole night against the Knox defense. The Cavs didn’t score in the first quarter as Knox led 17-0. The Cavs finally got on the board in the second quarter but were still losing 23-5 at the end of the half. The trend was the same in the second half as it was in the first as Knox won 49-14. The Cavs Comeback to Beat Knox
The Cavalier boys basketball team won an away conference game against Knox on Saturday, December 11th. Knox came into the game 0-3 with losses to Morgan Twp., Tippy Valley, and Peru. The Cavs struggled to find offense in the first quarter as Knox led 8-1 at the end of the first quarter. The Cavs finally started to find some offense as they pulled the lead to 4 at the end of half, 15-11. The Cavs kept it close as they went into the fourth quarter down 3, 23-20.
